ARCHI Coffee
& Plant Shop

Celebrating the rich coffee history of the Caribbean archipelago, ARCHI presents an elevated café concept in Brooklyn. The visual identity draws heavily from my Puerto Rican heritage and the coffee culture of NYC. Inspired by the deep, earthy tones of the island’s rainforests, I incorporated warm, grounded hues to create a welcoming atmosphere. Bold, robust rounded typography delivers a strong visual statement, while playful icons—rooted in Taino symbolism—add an approachable and friendly touch, connecting the brand to its cultural roots.

The visual icon set draws inspiration from Taino symbols, reimagined with a modern twist to evoke friendliness, charm, and approachability. Iconic shapes representing nature, the sun, and coffee were simplified and rounded to create a welcoming, playful feel. Soft lines retain a human touch, making the symbols more relatable and accessible. The result is an icon set that honors heritage while adding warmth and personality to the brand's visual identity.
